EP8844 is an EPON OLT terminal equipped with 8 gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 slots for SFP inserts (uplink), 4 slots for SFP+ inserts (uplink), 8 PON slots (downlink) and management ports. The device is enclosed in a 19" Rack housing with a height of 1U. It can handle a maximum of 512 client terminals at 1:64 split. The maximum data transmission range is 20 km and the EPON 1.25 Gbps is bandwidth.

The product offers many management functions. Allows you to monitor and configure ports, as well as authenticate connected client terminals. Each client terminal can be remotely managed and configured.

The advantage of the offered product are small size and low price, as well as low power consumption - just 45 W. It is well suited for FTTx solutions, especially FTTH. A useful feature are the different types of uplink ports.
